Painting with glaze on hand carved clay
Lately I have been producing some interesting effects with my Cone 10 ("high fire") glazes. With a brush I apply different colors of glaze alongside each other, occasionally in grooves I have cut into the clay to imitate an impressionist painter’s brush strokes. Sometimes the colors remain true and other times they blend or even change completely.
